The second phases would include another 240-room hotel tower, along with 10,000 square feet of convention space. Phase one, costing about $110 million, would include a 240-room hotel tower, a 70,000 square-foot casino, a 14 to 16-screen multiplex movie theater, four restaurants and a 500-seat showroom.
The hotel would be built into three phases. On July of 1998, Coast Resorts announced that a new $145 million hotel and casino named 'Sundance' would be constructed as a middle-market locals casino in the Summerlin area. The Suncoast includes a Century Movie Theater, a bowling alley, and a convention space.
The hotel is owned by Boyd Gaming and opened in 2000, making it one of the first casinos in Las Vegas to be built in the 2000s. The Suncoast is a locals hotel and casino located on 9090 Alta Drive in Las Vegas, Nevada.
